Local, family owned company comes to the aid of tornado victims in Greensboro.

GREENSBORO, NC, April 19th, 2018 – Canter Power Systems is a local business located just a few miles from where an F2 tornado touched down on Sunday April 15, 2018 causing massive destruction and severe power outages.

As an established but rapidly growing business in the community, Canter Power Systems immediately began to brainstorm how they could support the devastated community and people effected by extensive power outages. “We are so very grateful for our success,” said the President of Canter Power Systems, Ken Canter. “So, we believe it is our duty to give something back to the community.”

On April 20th Canter Power Systems donated 8 portable generators along with 3 pallets of bottled drinking water to assist with the tornado relief efforts in the Greensboro area. The donation was made at the Center of Hope at 11:00 am. Major Don Vick was in attendance to accept the donations on behalf of the tornado victims.

Friday afternoon some of the Canter Power Systems staff was onsite to help distribute cases of water to those effected by the tornado. It was estimated Canter Power Systems donated around $3,500 worth of supplies to help with the tornado relief.
