Canter power was amazing from the beginning to the end of my generator purchase and install. They kept me informed on every step. They kept their appointment times exactly, if they said they would be there at 10am, they were there at 10am! My first contact with them was actually on a Sunday, Monday morning they got the project started and 3 weeks later the entire project was completed. I have neighbors that had to wait 9 months and I was finished in 3 weeks! Couldn't have expected this to go as smoothly as it did and I'm extremely pleased with Canter power and all of their staff! I was disappointed during the estimate process that I was unable to get a breakdown of the purchase price of the generator. I was told that I was to receive multiple discounts, one for working at Home Depot, and a senior citizens discount. While I have no reason to believe that I didn't receive these discounts, I also have no proof that I did. Just guessing/assuming, but I feel that it may be a function of information received from Generac, as I received quotes from multiple installers and received the same info without line item breakdown. During the installation process, final gas inspection was not completed when it was supposed to be. Also, start-up was said to have been completed but was not, and then I was stood up for an appointment for start-up, after staying home waiting all day. And, on at least one occasion, something as easy as making a requested phone call before coming for a scheduled appointment was not done. And, while I was only minutes away, the purpose of the advance notice call was to have to a few minutes to finish work at hand instead of needing to rush off. But, overall, we are pleased with the generator. The unit performs its weekly test and we are comforted knowing it will be operational when needed. When the recent storms hit Texas and the power went out for days and generator unfortunately also went out right after the storm, they quickly got it handled and back up and running.
